Janine-Jansen_violinoLa violinista Janine Jansen a Roma suonerà all’Accademia nazionale di  Santa Cecilia. Questa stagione Santa Cecilia ha chiamato a se alcune violiniste della scena internazionale. Dopo aver ascoltato il violino di Batiashvili nell’esecuzione del Concerto di Sibelius e Anna Tifu, ora suonerà Janine Jansen, celebre violinista olandese che si esibisce a Santa Cecilia per 3 giorni a partire da oggi sabato 21 febbraio 2015 (Sala Santa Cecilia alle ore 18 –  lunedì 23 ore 20.30 – martedì 24 ore 19.30) con il Concerto per violino di Brahms diretto da Antonio Pappano . Janine Jansen è impegnata in una tournée europea , come anche la Batiashvili,  che a partire dai primi giorni di marzo si esibirà in importanti città quali Baden Baden, Lussemburgo, Amsterdam, Francoforte, Essen, Dusseldorf, Bruxelles, Eindhoven.

“In questo villaggio vagano così tante melodie che si deve stare attenti a non calpestarle”, così scriveva Brahms dal suo ritiro in Carinzia dove, nella quiete estiva compose molta della sua musica. A Pörtschach, un piccolo villaggio affacciato sul lago di Wörth, aveva completato la Seconda Sinfonia e nell’estate seguente, quella del 1878, scrisse il Concerto per violino, dedicato all’amico Joseph Joachim, violinista di talento con il quale intrattenne una fitta corrispondenza per tutto il periodo di gestazione del concerto. A Joachim, Brahms sottoponeva i vari passaggi, chiedendo suggerimenti e correzioni e, quando l’opera fu completata, fu proprio Joachim a eseguire in pubblico gli elaborati virtuosismi richiesti dalla partitura. Scrittura densa e complessa che richiede un interprete di grande tecnica come Janine Jansen. Olandese, figlia d’arte, la Jansen ha debuttato come solista con l’Orchestra Nazionale Scozzese nel 2001, a poco più di vent’anni, interpretando proprio il concerto di Brahms.

Dopo avere già affrontato recentemente pagine di Goffredo Petrassi e Luigi Dallapiccola, Antonio Pappano continua l’esplorazione del Novecento musicale italiano proponendo una rara pagina di Gian Francesco Malipiero, Concerti per orchestra, una sorta di suite concertante che impegna in ruolo quasi solistico alcuni strumenti dell’orchestra.

Il programma è completato dalla Sinfonia n. 4 di Robert Schumann, composta nell’estate del 1841 – periodo particolarmente fecondo per la creatività del suo autore – e presentata a Lipsia il 6 dicembre dello stesso anno, in una serata in cui si esibirono in duo nientemeno che Franz Liszt e Clara Schumann, che con le loro variazioni virtuosistiche su un tema di Bellini, offuscarono il successo della prima esecuzione. Schumann mise la Sinfonia in un cassetto e la riprese per una revisione più o meno dieci anni dopo, raccogliendo il suo ultimo, grande successo in vita.
